Junior Mechanical Engineer 

We are looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. 

As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will assist in technical design, project coordination, and quality assurance activities while learning about our products, services, and customer solutions. You should be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and support to build a strong foundation in mechanical design and project management. We’re committed to your growth and have carved out a clear career path into a project management role.

This position focuses on supporting customer programs, assisting with technical projects, and coordinating manufacturing activities with our global teams. Experience with mechanical components, connectors, and sheet metal design will be valuable in this position.

What You’ll Do:

• Communicate with customers' engineering teams to assess requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with management and factories to translate customer requirements into project plans and solutions.
• Cooperate with the Engineering Team to evaluate project needs, provide technical insights and offer feasible design solutions.
• Provide 2D/3D design support for mechanical components/connectors, reviewing, and refining drawings.
• Analyze and define technical specifications, ensuring product designs align with customer expectations.
• Review test reports to verify compliance with customer specifications.
• Manage projects efficiently, deliver technical presentations, and produce high-quality documentation.
• Translate technical documents from Chinese to English before submitting to customers, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Learn to use ERP systems for project tracking.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow within a team environment.
• A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical component design or manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks and AutoCAD (preferred but not required).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Sheet Metal Design is a plus (Preferred, but not required). 
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English (Required).
• Experience with connector components is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Location:

Hybrid (U.S. based) — preference for candidates local to Tustin, CA .
