Overview of the role: Hartford Funds is seeking a Junior Salesforce Developer interested in joining our fast-paced, client-focused team. In this role, you will perform approximately 70% administrative functions and 30% development efforts. As an Administrator, your responsibilities include configuring, managing, and customizing the Salesforce platform to meet business needs. As a developer, you will work on projects leveraging Apex and other skills to enhance our Sales team’s capabilities. You will collaborate closely with a technical lead but also have the autonomy to work independently with minimal oversight. Responsibilities: Manage Salesforce administration tasks such as user access, support queue monitoring, third-party SFDC app support, data loads, exports, and daily triage calls, maintaining a customer-focused approach. Collaborate with the technical lead, project manager, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations. Communicate proactively and clearly with developers and project managers. Manage workload effectively, communicate progress, and deliver on time. Ensure quality in deliverables, aligning with requirements and expectations. Approach all tasks with energy and focus, ensuring thorough testing of deliverables. Develop a deep understanding of business needs. Provide support coverage in production environments. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year Salesforce development experience. Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components. Understanding of communication options between Lightning components. Proficiency with Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, and SOQL. Skills in Javascript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with VS Code, sfdx, and git. Java or .Net experience is a plus. Salesforce certifications are advantageous. Compensation: The annual base pay range is estimated based on market analysis and may vary depending on performance, skills, and competencies. The range is: $80,000 - $100,000 Additional rewards may include bonuses, incentives, and recognition. Compensation details are part of Hartford’s total rewards package.
