About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive Junior Web Developer with a strong foundation in WordPress , SEO best practices , and a sharp eye for translating Figma designs into optimized, responsive websites. You’ll work closely with our web and marketing teams to maintain, improve, and grow our digital presence across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and optimize websites in WordPress

  • Implement on-page SEO updates using SEMrush and other SEO tools

  • Translate Figma designs into responsive, cross-browser-compatible layouts

  • Upload and manage content (pages, posts, media, forms)

  • Monitor and improve site performance using PageSpeed Insights and Core Web Vitals

  • Troubleshoot and fix front-end issues (HTML/CSS/JS/PHP)

  • Run SEO audits and performance reports regularly

  • Collaborate with designers and content editors to meet project goals

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–2 years experience with WordPress development

  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and tools like SEMrush , Google Search Console , Google Analytics

  • Comfortable reading and implementing designs from Figma

  • Solid knowledge of HTML5 , LESS , CSS3 , PHP , basic JavaScript

  • Familiar with performance optimization and tools like PageSpeed Insights

  • Ability to upload, format, and manage content within WordPress

  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn and grow

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills)

  • Experience with custom themes

  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)

  • Light experience with PHP or React is a plus
