Intelligen-Ashlor Staffing is assisting a plastics company in Midland, MI, seeking to hire a Quality Control Lab Technician.
QUALITY CONTROL LAB TECHNICIAN
JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective Perform routine physical testing on plastic specimens and samples. Responsibilities include:
•Perform routine testing by following prescribed written procedures and techniques
•Record test results on appropriate forms and other required documentation
•Maintain testing logs
•Prepare samples for testing as described in testing procedures
•Keep equipment and work areas clean and well maintained
•Troubleshoot and report any testing equipment issue
•Check the testing equipment for accuracy and effectiveness
•Perform occasional quality audits of laboratory and production work instructions to ensure compliance to the company's Quality Policy
•Test samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Inspection, test and product evaluation preferred
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Exemplary attendance record
