Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Land Acquisition Manager to join our growing team! This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for real estate, land acquisition, and land planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and acquiring land for commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic land acquisition plans in line with the company's objectives.
  • Continually research, analyze, and stay updated with real estate market trends to identify potential land for acquisition.
  • Negotiate and secure the best prices and terms on properties, ensuring maximum return on investment.
  • Handle all aspects of commercial and residential land acquisition, from initial research and due diligence to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and engineering, to ensure smooth acquisition processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, brokers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations to the senior management team regarding land purchases and potential risks.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on land acquisition activities and progress.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal real estate regulations and laws.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in land acquisition, preferably for a home builder.
  • Proven track record of successful land acquisition multifamily or residential projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate market trends, land planning, and property valuation.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to secure the best prices and terms.
