Maplewood of Cheshire County is looking for help in our Environmental Services Department. We will train.
Full Time Position: 40 hours a week including a weekend rotation
Pay rate: $16.88
Additional Weekend differential of $1.75 when worked
Laundry Aides
Laundry aides wash and fold laundry and ensure that clean linens and personal laundry are delivered.
Responsibilities include:
-collecting soiled linens and assisting with sorting and stain removal.
-removing linens from dryers and sorting by resident name and/or location.
-hanging, folding, counting and stacking linens according to department or unit.
-placing linens on carts and distributing to departments according to their daily needs.
-inspecting linens for wear and setting items aside for repair as necessary.
-Must be 18 Years of age
