- Conduct regular clinical supervision for all counselors, peer support specialists, interns, and/or any direct care staff within the program.
- Serve as a resource for counselors regarding program policies and procedures, ensuring that staff are aware of and following current standards of care.
- Provide onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of staff members and interns.
- Facilitate patient intake admissions and assign primary counselor.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to oversee recommendations and interventions related to patient care.
- Make and maintain referrals to appropriate resource agencies and provide feedback to those agencies.
- Plan and conduct staff development activities as necessary.
- Monitor employee morale and consult with Program Manager and Director to recommend improvement of retention and job satisfaction.
- Provide case management, individual, group, and family counseling for patients, as necessary.
- Conduct patient assessments to develop, implement, and participate in patient treatment plans.
- Prepare and maintain clinical records ensuring accurate and timely submission of data for program reporting as required.
- Review patient charts and complete monthly Quality Improvement chart audits.
- Perform counselor duties when absent and assist with crisis intervention as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Masters degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- LMHC, LCSW or LMFT license required
Supervisory Responsibilities: 6-10 employees.
Job Type: Full-time (Exempt).
