  Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN - Schools

This school nurse opportunity is perfect for LPNs to deliver the highest quality of care, with the support of a motivated team of caregivers who have been at the district for years. Located in Davison, MI , you'll be equipped to provide an excellent level of care to students with a strong team of other nurses with the ease of a M-F schedule following the school calendar. 

PAY:

Hourly Comp: $26-27
Weekly Comp: $910- $945

35 hours /Week

MORE ABOUT THE  LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE :

1. Assesses, plans and implements the nursing process.
2. Provides classroom instruction appropriate and maintains accurate medical records. 
3. Promotes wellness and disease prevention by early detection and correction of health problems that may interfere with learning, growth, and development.
4. Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image
5. Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
6. Foster a caring environment that respects patient's dignity
7. Maintain a high quality of nursing care for students with psychiatric and mental health illnesses
8. Deliver and evaluate all care provided
9. Take the lead role in case of a medical or psychiatric emergency and therapeutically intervene and de-escalate students as needed
10. Contribute to a friendly and fun environment

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE  LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE :

1. Graduate of a nationally approved Nursing program is required.
2. Maintain current BLS/CPR certification from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC)
3. Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing
4. Prior school experience preferred
5. 1+ years experience as an LPN required
