Now Hiring: Clinical Laboratory Scientist – San Juan Capistrano, CA (Full-Time, 3rd Shift, Onsite) Location: 33608 Ortega Hwy, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675 Contract Length- 24 weeks Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM Pay Rate: $30–$55.50/hr Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist (3rd Shift) to provide accurate and timely clinical laboratory testing at our San Juan Capistrano facility. Key Responsibilities: • Independently perform moderate to highly complex clinical tests • Conduct reagent/media preparation and testing of new controls • Evaluate specimen acceptability and calculate results using manual or automated procedures • Enter and verify test results in the system; ensure timely turnaround • Respond to critical/unusual values and document actions taken • Perform quality control, calibrations, and instrument maintenance • Troubleshoot lab equipment and document performance checks • Participate in training and supervise unlicensed staff if applicable • Support quality improvement, safety, and infection control protocols • Take part in continuing education to maintain licensure Requirements: • BS in medical technology or life/physical sciences required • Current California CLS license required • 0–3 years of laboratory experience (offer rate based on experience) • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and lift/carry objects (1–50 lbs) • Must pass a color vision test if required for role • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong typing and automation skills preferred • Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to sit/stand for long periods This is a contract-to-hire position with potential for permanent employment based on performance and experience.
