Walla Walla Community College is accepting applications for a part-time Medical Assistant Instructor position on the Walla Walla Campus. This role reports to the Dean of Nursing and Allied Health and involves classroom, lab, and clinical instruction of MA courses, both in-person and online. The instructor will prepare teaching materials, assess student learning, assign grades, and maintain records, fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment. The position requires teaching during various times, including evenings, and collaborating on program effectiveness according to MAERB and CAAHEP standards. Qualifications include a current credential as a certified medical assistant from recognized organizations, a minimum of three years of healthcare experience, and preferably teaching experience in postsecondary education. Bilingual skills in English/Spanish and the ability to travel regionally are desirable. This is a contingent, part-time position based at the Walla Walla Campus, with compensation based on enrollment and experience.
