As a leader in our community and with the business continuing to grow, we are looking to add a detail oriented billing specialist to our team.

What You Will Do:

• Responsibilities vary based on which team you are placed on – teams include confirming, prior authorization, stop/hold, accounts receivable, payment posting.
  
• Data entry of all patient demographics, guarantor, and insurance information, posting procedures, and insurance/patient payments.
  
• Resolve billing inquiries from customers and adjust when appropriate.
  
• Determines appropriate HCPC code and Medicare and insurance pricing.
  
• Insurance verifications, confirmation of sales orders, obtain prior authorization, claims adjustment, and follow up with outstanding accounts receivables.
  

What We are Looking for:

• Previous experience or certification/diploma in medical billing required.
  
• Knowledge of medical coding and billing systems and regulatory requirements.
  
• Ability to adapt and modify medical billing procedures, protocol, and data management systems.
  
• Must learn and grow to have in-depth knowledge of products sold, associated medical conditions, and insurance coverage.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and phone etiquette skills.
  
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  

Important Details:

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Job Type: Full Time- ON SITE

Compensation: $18/hour

Location: New Hope, MN
