**Job Title: Medical Device Assembler** **Job Description** In this role, you will support a high-volume line by pulling devices from packages, cleaning and wiping them down, conducting basic startup testing, and repackaging them with the correct documentation. This repetitive role requires lifting up to 35lbs throughout the day. **Responsibilities** + Work as part of a team to assemble parts. + Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins. + Manually assemble small parts under a microscope. + Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes. + Package assembled parts. + Pick up, move, and sort small parts. + Verify raw materials and lot numbers. + Build products by following all processes and completing other assigned work while meeting manufacturing goals and metrics. + Rotate as necessary and work well with all group members, both within the team and cross-functionally. + Maintain accurate records, including training records and required paperwork. + Perform other related duties as assigned by management. + Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. + Adhere to safety and quality processes and procedures. + Communicate the status of operations in a timely manner to management, including any safety or process problems. + Maintain a clean and safe work area. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of experience in medical device assembly. + Experience in manufacturing and performing visual inspections. + Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines. + Ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision. + Capability to manage multiple projects. + Ability to read blueprints. + Willingness to work under a microscope throughout the day. + Ability to lift 35-50lbs frequently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with medical devices and clean room procedures. + Familiarity with assembly and medical assembly in a clean room environment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including a Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision), Retirement Plan (401k, IRA), Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Family Leave, and Short & Long Term Disability. The position operates in a clean room where clean room attire is required, including masks, gloves, hairnets, and smocks. The role varies in scope work, ranging from 10% to 50% on different days. The position follows a 1st shift schedule, from 5 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
