Job Description
Daily Responsibilities: As the Medical Director - Psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing Behavioral Health expertise to guide the approval or denial of claims across various lines of business, including Utilization Management, Quality Management, and Case Management. This is a remote position, with the flexibility to work from home while also being required to visit the office as needed. Candidates should reside near or in Orange County or San Bernardino County, CA.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a psychiatric specialty.
Proven leadership and administrative experience.
Doctorate of Medicine from an accredited institution.
Valid Medical Doctor license in California.
Certification by an American Specialty Board in Psychiatry.
Experience in quality, care coordination, and utilization management within inpatient psychiatry, ACO, or FQHC settings.
