Our client, a healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional medical services, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join their team. As a Medical Records Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting the medical records department by managing document uploads, communicating with insurance companies, and ensuring accurate record keeping. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent computer proficiency, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s mission to serve diverse patient needs and support legal and insurance processes.

Job Title: Medical Records Clerk

Location: Spring Valley, NY

Pay Range: $19.00/hr

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm; Friday, 9am-2pm

What's the Job?

• Upload medical documents for legal, insurance, and healthcare providers using an ERP system
• Send out statements and invoices to clients via efax, email, and phone calls
• Coordinate with offshore teams to retrieve and process medical records efficiently
• Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely delivery of records
• Maintain accurate and organized records to support legal and administrative processes

• Strong computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
