Job Description

Our Client, a Primary Care Service company, is looking for a Medical Scribe for their Redwood City, CA/ San Francisco, CA location.

• Prepare patient charts prior to visits and accompany the provider during the visit, transcribing visit notes and assisting with documentation related to vitals, medical history and care plans
• Transcribe patient orders, including but not limited to laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc.
• Responding to patient messages, sending letters, completing action items / follow up items from outside facilities, etc.
• Spot mistakes or inconsistencies in medical documentation and check to correct the information in order to reduce errors.
• Master our technology suite including but not limited to Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and our Electronic Medical Record System 1Life, in order to interact with team members and patients and complete daily work
• Use impeccable C-I-CARE (a framework containing the key elements of a great interaction and effective communication that we use with patients and each other) in all patient interactions and ensure a fluid and positive visit experience
