Currently accepting applications for Middle School Computer Science Teacher Position for the 26-27 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging project-based learning experiences aligned with curriculum standards and student interests for computer science or CTE classes.
• Facilitate student-centered instruction that promotes inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Mentor and guide students through the entire project lifecycle, from ideation and planning to execution and reflection.
• Foster a collaborative classroom environment where students work together to tackle real-world challenges and develop 21st-century skills.
• Provide ongoing support and feedback to students to help them achieve project goals and academic objectives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary concepts and promote cross-curricular connections.
• Utilize technology and other resources to enhance learning experiences and facilitate student research and exploration.
• Assess student learning through a variety of methods, including project presentations, portfolios, and performance assessments.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and stakeholders to provide updates on student progress and program initiatives.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in project-based learning and educational trends.

Qualifications:
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field with ability to obtain teaching license. 
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Passion for innovative teaching practices and student-centered learning.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Preferred:

• Valid teaching certification/license. 
• Demonstrated experience with project-based learning pedagogy and instructional design.
