*MRI and/or Mammogram Technologist Oakland MRI & Diagnostics –*
Oakland MRI & Diagnostics is seeking a full time *MRI and/or Mammogram Technologist *to join our team to work with a great energetic fast paced facility and staff. This position will be working on the latest up to date, state of the art Siemens Magnatom MRI Unit and Mammomat 2D/3D mammogram machine. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading free standing radiology facility that’s making a lasting impact on the health care of Garrett County and the surrounding tristate region.
This position is a Full-Time position 8:00am-4:00pm Monday –Friday and offers 9 holidays. Summary:
The *MRI and/or Mammogram Technologist *will need to be able to perform basic MRI Studies, 2D/3D Mammograms procedures according to protocols established by the radiologists; performs on a technical level without constant supervision of technical detail; performs procedures for adult patients requiring independent judgment to apply prescribed and appropriate MRI and Mammogram scanning and diagnostic techniques for diagnosis; assumes responsibility of designated area and procedures performed; prepares and screens patients having the exams done. Training in other modalities such Breast Ultrasound, and DEXA are a plus. Willingness to cross train is appreciated.
Reports to: Lead radiologist and Office Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* ARRT Certification Radiography. Must have.
* Must have MRI and /or Mammography Board certification through ARRT/ACR
* Have certification or obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire
