Job Summary:
Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as NA and CNA hires. These positions are full-time, salary healthcare/medical jobs in the franchise industry, located in Honolulu, Hawaii. As an individual contributor, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our senior clients, allowing them to maintain their independence and age with dignity.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation for these positions is $18 to $25 per hour, paid weekly. In addition to competitive pay, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to senior clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with medication reminders and administration as directed by a healthcare professional
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as well as light housekeeping and laundry tasks
- Document client care and progress in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other members of the care team, including nurses and therapists, to create and implement individualized care plans
- Report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professional
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, following infection control and safety protocols
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Follow all company policies and procedures and participate in ongoing training and education opportunities
- Consistently demonstrate empathy, patience, and respect towards clients and their families
- Strive to create a positive and comfortable environment for clients, fostering their independence and well-being
Requirements:
- Active NA or CNA certification in the state of Hawaii
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working with seniors, preferably in a healthcare or home care setting
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic knowledge of safety and infection control protocols
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
