The Nature Activities Expert supports the daily operation of the Nature Centre, providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for guests of all ages. This role assists in delivering interactive programs, guiding outdoor activities, and ensuring the Nature Centre is well-presented and aligned with the property’s sustainability and wellness values. What will I be doing? Welcome guests and provide information about the Nature Centre’s facilities, programs, and activities. Lead and assist in nature-based activities such as guided walks, eco-workshops, wildlife observation, gardening, and cultural discovery programs. Engage with children and families through interactive, educational, and fun nature experiences. Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring equipment and materials are in good condition. Support sustainability initiatives by promoting eco-friendly practices and educating guests on conservation. Assist with planning and coordinating seasonal or special environmental events. Ensure compliance with safety standards during all activities, including first aid response if necessary. Collaborate with other departments (Spa, Recreation, F&B) to create integrated wellness and nature experiences. Provide guests with information about resort facilities, spa, and recreation activities. Take initiative to resolve issues, clearly communicating with both guests and colleagues. Respond quickly and positively to changing requirements and tasks assigned. Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational / environmental procedures and facilities in the property. Maintain vigilance and sense of responsibility at all times. Ensure all facilities and equipment are operating well. Ensure guests have a comfortable and safe experience, and employees can work in a safe environment. Ensure that all activities and job functions are performed in a safe environment using proper safety techniques. Maintain all malfunctioning equipment and follow through with the repairs, issuing work orders for maintenance issues. Ensure the opening and closing procedures of the pool areas are carried out smoothly and efficiently. Read, understand and acknowledge the communications book daily. Perform other related duties and special projects. Carry out any other reasonable tasks or requests as directed by the Management. The Management reserves the right to make changes to this job description at its sole discretion and without advance notice. What are we looking for? Local Malaysian citizen. Background in environmental studies, recreation, hospitality, or related field would be ideal. Passion for nature, sustainability, and ability to lead guest engagement. Friendly, energetic, patient, and creative personality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with different age groups. Well versed with English and Bahasa, both verbal and written to meet business needs. Other languages will be an added advantage. Experience in outdoor activities, eco-tourism, recreation, or environmental education. Certification in First Aid and CPR would be ideal. Good interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction. Able to stand, walk, bend, lift and / or sit to continuously perform essential job functions. Able to work outdoor environment with exposure to sun and water. Able to demonstrate 5-star customer focus and guest experience. Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. What will it be like to work for Hilton?
