We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nephrologist with an active MA license for a part-time, month-on/month-off consultant position. This is a great opportunity to provide expert advice to hospitals without the pressure of urgent or emergent cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consultation for nephrology cases via phone or virtual communication.
• Connect with hospitalists to provide advice on nephrology-related cases.
• Handle approximately 2 consults per month (18 consults per year).
• Respond to consult requests on the same day.
• Work within a supportive and collaborative environment, offering advice and guidance on complex nephrology cases.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST.
• This role operates on a month-on/month-off basis, ensuring a flexible work schedule.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or Board-eligible Nephrologist.
• Must have an active MA license
• Ability to provide curbside consultations and offer practical advice for acute nephrology cases.
• Must have strong communication skills to liaise effectively with hospitalists.
