Job Posting:  Dance Teacher (Ballet/Jazz/Contemporary) Opportunity at Ensemble Schools

Are you a passionate dance instructor who loves working with children? Ensemble Schools is looking for an experienced  Recreational Jazz/Ballet/Contemporary Dance teacher to inspire and nurture the next generation of students at Pointe of Grace Dance Studio. Our growing studio in Katy, Texas focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment. We're seeking instructors who can deliver engaging, in-person lessons and contribute to the vibrant dance community. Our positive classrooms are staffed by amazing teachers who go beyond teaching dance technique to developing important life skills in students because Pointe of Grace Dance Studio is about More Than Just Great Dancing!®

Preference will be given to candidates with availability on  Mondays & Tuesdays from 5PM-9PM and Thursdays from 4PM-6:30PM  for our regular season from August through May. Preference will also be given to teachers who are able to teach all of the listed dance styles through advanced levels. Proficiency in Spanish is a PLUS.

• Season Schedule: Summer Session is June 4th - August 8th; Regular Season runs August - May.

Responsibilities:

• Instructing students in dance techniques across various skill levels (Ages 5-18).
• Strong dance background in ballet/jazz/contemporary required for this position.
• Developing and implementing lesson plans tailored to individual and group needs.
• Choreographing routines for our biannual performances.
• Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated to the art of teaching dance.
• Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
• Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus).
