Jones Networking is recruiting for a Plant Manager to join a food production facility in Harrisburg, PA. This role will oversee and direct all plant operations, manage manpower, technology, equipment and raw materials. Plant Manager Position Summary:
-Manage production to ensure that products meet customer service and quality
requirements.
-Direct initiatives to achieve cost reduction, manufacturing efficiencies and product
quality improvements for all operations.
-Maintain a maintenance program to minimize downtime.
-Ensure workplace safety and comply with all legal and governmental requirements such as OSHA, etc.
-Comply with corporate and company guidelines in Accounting, Human Resources,
Purchasing, etc.
-Lead the overall manufacturing process from raw material receipt through the
fabrication and packaging process.
-Responsible for employee development, performance management and staffing with a focus on management by objectives. (KPI’s, Plant Objectives, etc.)
-Support quality standards, inventory accuracy and production planning schedules with a focus on reduction/avoidance of failure costs.
-Manage the daily operations of the Plant with a focus on employees, safety and
productivity.
Qualifications Summary:
-Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Manufacturing
Operations, or Engineering preferred.
-Minimum six years of manufacturing experience.
-Food production facility experience preferred.
-Experience managing plant operations to meet production schedules.
-Strong staff leadership, team building, decision-making and people management skills.
