Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking passionate, experienced Primary Counselors to provide integrated behavioral healthcare services, which may include per licensure and/or certification diagnosis, treatment of substance use disorders and mental/emotional disorders, treatment of individuals and victims of sexually related offenses and trauma, and treatment planning for clients who have been referred to Alvis. The Primary Counselor will provide treatment services in the form of groups, individual counseling, and some case management services as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in the human services field.
Experience: 1+ years of providing integrated behavioral healthcare services treating individuals and victims of sexual related offenses and trauma.
Certificates & Licenses: Minimum licensure: LPC or LSW. LPCC or LISW preferred.
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
Skills and Abilities:
Computer Skills: Skill in use of personal computer and related software (e.g., Electronic records, Microsoft Word, Excel); use of office equipment (e.g., copier, fax, printer).
