What's your day like?As a new Full Time Prior Authorization Specialist at Katy Trail Community Health, you can expect a dynamic and engaging work environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing patient requests for services and ensuring proper documentation is submitted to insurance providers. You will coordinate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary authorizations while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Daily tasks will also involve managing communications with patients and assisting them through the authorization process.
You will be expected to stay current on insurance policies and procedures to provide the best support possible. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while contributing to the health of the Sedalia community.
