INH Property Management is a rapidly growing full-service real estate company that excels in property management and real estate development for multifamily apartment communities. INH Properties has been in business for over 40 years and currently manages 8,000+ units across Minnesota and Iowa.

What We’re Looking For:

INH Property Management is seeking a talented accountant to join our team and drive their ongoing growth. We are looking for someone eager to learn and grow with our company. As a property accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate reporting for the properties we manage. Your responsibilities will primarily involve managing the Accounts Payable operations and overseeing the financial reporting for a designated portfolio of properties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing : Daily tasks include sorting, scanning, and uploading a high volume of invoices into our accounting software. Approve invoices for payment.
• Vendor Management : Analyze vendor statements received by mail, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments. Contact vendors as needed for invoice clarification or to obtain certificate of insurance and W9s.
• Portfolio Accounting : Maintain accurate tenant ledgers, respond to property management inquiries about expense variances, and manage tenant communications, including ledger adjustments and refund processing.
• Financial Reporting : Complete monthly bank reconciliations, journal entries and prepare monthly financial reports.

Who We Are Looking For (Ideal Candidate):

• Education : Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Work Environment : Capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Disposition : Possesses a positive, can-do, attitude and is a team player, receptive to feedback is essential for ongoing personal and professional development.
• Analytical Abilities : Comfortable with numbers and adept at problem-solving.
• Initiative : Self-motivated and intellectually curious, with the ability to independently pursue projects.
• Confidentiality : Demonstrates a steadfast commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.

Working Conditions:

• Currently onsite in Waite Park, MN (not fully remote)
• Full time/Hourly
• Pay range $24.00 - $33.00, depending on experience.
