About the Role

Interpret solicitation requirements and develop compliant, persuasive content. Collaborate with subject matter experts, operations teams, and executives to gather and refine proposal content. Maintain a library of past proposals, boilerplate content, and templates. Ensure all deliverables are compliant, polished, and submitted on time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of proposal development for opportunities with the City of Austin and related municipal entities.
• Interpret solicitation requirements and develop compliant, persuasive content.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, operations teams, and executives to gather and refine proposal content.
• Maintain a library of past proposals, boilerplate content, and templates.
• Ensure all deliverables are compliant, polished, and submitted on time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing proposals for City of Austin solicitations or other local Texas municipalities.
• Deep understanding of the City of Austin procurement process, documentation, and terminology.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with compliance documents, pricing narratives, and technical writing.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and coordinate with stakeholders virtually.

Preferred Skills

• Background in consulting, construction, IT, or staffing.
