Fellowships support a wide spectrum of public health laboratory program areas, such as: bioinformatics, biosafety and biosecurity, emergency preparedness and response, environmental health, infectious disease, informatics, food safety, newborn screening, and quality management. Each fellow will be trained in alignment with established public health laboratory core competencies and functions and will work on unique program-specific projects and other initiatives in host laboratories. Fellows will be placed with a mentor at one of our member laboratories once they have been matched via the application process. Eligible Candidates: US citizen or permanent resident with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree from an accredited institution Applications: Accepted year-round Start and End Dates: Flexible Hours and Program Length: Approximately 40 hours a week, one to two years Applications are currently being accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
