Job Description

The Quality Manager is accountable to ensure an effective quality management system, continuous improvement of products and processes, and management of QA and QC functions.

• Plan and implement the necessary actions to ensure that the company complies with the requirements of Netafim’s QMS and QC global procedures, QMA, Netafim Management system, ISO 9001 QMS, and any relevant national, international, or customer specific standards.
• Prepare the investigation reports for customer complaints and ensure critical ones have an 8D.
• Conduct field visits, when necessary, and keep alignment routines with the Product Managers.
• Ensure data maintenance in SAP Q1 Module and Salesforce.
• Calculate and review the main quality KPIs such as CDPPM, COPQ, SLA, and Scrap.
• Manage validation activities in case of changes such as: production of new products, and changes in production lines.
• Drive an Operational Excellence culture, through implementation of Lean and Six Sigma concepts throughout the plant.
• Liaison with Netafim Global Quality and Operation Excellence group to ensure full alignment with corporate policy and standards, effective flow of information, use of best practices and knowledge gathered worldwide.
• Conduct tests, supervise and maintain the operation of the offline quality laboratory ensuring that all manufactured products comply with quality and performance standards. Ensure accurate records are maintained of all testing and approvals.
• Maintain laboratory, including equipment calibration to required standard, ensuring equipment maintenance and a clean and safe work environment.

• B.Sc/M.Sc in Engineering or any relevant science -based field of study.
• Proven experience as Quality Manager, experience in a global company will be advantage
• Proven knowledge and experience managing and developing QMS according to ISO-9001 and higher QMS standards.
• Experience with SAP QM module – advantage.
