Our company is currently seeking ​a Quickbooks/Data Entry Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records. We are a property management company and you will enter data regarding all aspects of the properties. You will not be required to go to the properties. You will be responsible for the overall accounting and financial reporting of commercial real estate properties.

 

Main Tasks:

  • Property Accounting
  • Lease Data Management
  • Financial reporting of all bank accounts

Responsibilities:

  • Rental collections and separate trust account banking (Accounts of the debtors and vendors/ Bank account management).
  • Perform monthly bank account reconciliations
  • Responsible for the PM rental invoices, delinquencies, reminders, and increases
  • Report delinquent payments on the 10th and 20th of the month.
  • Operating costs settlement
  • Security deposits management
  • Tenant screening for rental history, credit, criminal, and employment status
  • Financial Reporting - Comprehensive, computerized monthly statements, including a complete record of all collections and disbursements
  • Accrue and amortize taxes and insurance monthly
  • Provide monthly, year-end statements of all income and expenses for client tax records
  • Key person for AppFolio
  • Management of client access to AppFolio
  • Lease Data Management - AppFolio
  • Collecting and updating COIs, W9s and building insurance

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Good work ethic
