Restructuring & Bankruptcy Associate Attorney (Junior to Mid-Level)

Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its Restructuring & Bankruptcy Group in the Atlanta office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced team on sophisticated bankruptcy, restructuring, and finance-related litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in bankruptcy, restructuring, and lending-related matters.
Appear in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts.
Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
Participate in case strategy, legal research, and client counseling.
Collaborate closely with partners and team members in a fast-paced legal environment.
Requirements:
2–4 years of relevant legal experience in bankruptcy and lending matters.
Litigation experience in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts.
Strong academic background and excellent legal writing and research skills.
Ability to take ownership of projects and work effectively in a team setting.
Prior experience at a large law firm preferred but not required.
Admission to the Georgia Bar or eligibility for admission in the near future.
