Essential Functions - Observe activities in the office, warehouse, and field to ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
- Conduct weekly job site safety audits; report unsafe acts or conditions to the Superintendent and/or Lead Mechanic and follow up to confirm corrections.
- Ensure all first aid cabinets and kits are adequately stocked.
- Participate in the onboarding of new employees, providing thorough Safety Orientation.
- Assist in root cause investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Assists in administering training for multiple safety topics for the office and field throughout the year.
- Maintain the SDS job site booklet and assist in maintaining company OSHA logs and required reporting.
- Assist in coordination and conducting monthly Safety Meetings.
- Assist with the administration of uniform orders for field personnel bi-annually.
- Assist with annual review of safety policies and recommend improvements.
- Assist with requisitioning and managing safety resources such as safety, first aid, and fire prevention equipment; ensure they are maintained in good, serviceable condition.
- As needed, represent the company during any investigations conducted by regulatory authorities such as OSHA or EPA.

Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree in Safety Sciences (Occupational Safety & Health, environmental/Health & Safety or similar), or equivalent; Completion of OSHA 500 course.
Experience: 5+ years of Construction Safety Experience or Certified Safety Professional Certificate.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Certificates & Licenses: Valid Texas Drivers License
