Job Summary
We are seeking a professional Security Flex Specialist to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect our premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times. Job site locations: Seattle, Burien, Lynnwood, Kirkland and throughout the Puget Sound region. Requires working weekends and Holidays. There will be overtime and unscheduled shifts. The Flex Specialist will be dispatched to urgent security jobs and fire watches. The Flex Specialist will also fill in for vacant posts. This is a full-time plus overtime position. 40+ hours per week. Hourly pay: $26/hour.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
• Remove trespassers when necessary
• Monitor surveillance cameras
• Respond to reports of suspicious activity
• Report on daily activities and any security incidents
• Show up to every shift on-time
• Fill in vacant shifts
• Work various locations as needed
• Work last minute jobs

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
• Valid registration as a security officer
• High school diploma/GED
• Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
• Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
• Ability to operate surveillance equipment
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Legal to work in USA
• Drug-free
• No criminal record
• Licensed/insured, reliable, vehicle suited for driving all conditions, including rain, snow, and ice
• valid drivers license
• Physically able to walk, stand, sit for long periods. Must be able to lift, pull, push, grasp, twist, and climb stairs
