We are seeking a Senior Economist to join us in making it significantly easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to stay healthy.

As a Senior Economist, you will lead end-to-end development of economic solutions and collaborate with other scientists. You will independently handle ambiguous and large-scale problems, leveraging your expertise in causal inference, statistics, and machine learning to address specific business challenges. Your role involves retrieving, analyzing, and presenting critical data and insights, and communicating effectively with engineers, scientists, product managers, and leadership to identify opportunities, support decision-making, and drive product innovation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD in economics or equivalent
• Experience in developing analytic or scientific data products or solutions
• Proficiency in econometrics (e.g., program evaluation, forecasting, time series, panel data, high-dimensional problems), economic theory, and quantitative methods
• Experience with statistical modeling using R, Python, STATA, or similar software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in developing and executing an analytic vision to solve business-relevant problems
• Background in industry, consulting, government, or academic research
• Health and pharmacy experience is a plus but not required

Our compensation varies by geographic market, with a base salary ranging from $143,300 to $247,600 annually, depending on location, experience, and skills.
