THE ROLE:
We're seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive our Open Source facing product to enable GPU-accelerated Kubernetes environments. This role sits at the intersection of high-performance computing, cloud-native architectures, and large-scale capacity management and planning infrastructure.
The impact you will have:
Drive architectural decisions that enable developers to scale their AI training and inference workloads
Facilitate capacity and planning to most effectively leverage our fleet of GPU accelerators and related infrastructure.
Drive decisions that impact the entire developer ecosystem around AI inference and training on AMD GPUs
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with business acumen to drive product development from conception to market success. Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership and strong analytical and quantitative skills with data-driven decision-making skills. The candidate will have outstanding written and verbal communication abilities and partner across the organization internally and with customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own and evolve the product roadmap for our GPU-accelerated Kubernetes environments including partnerships with key Cloud Providers.
Lead the design and delivery of our GPUaaS software platform
Partner with engineering teams to drive maximize utilization of GPUs while also facilitating with key stakeholders the acquisition of additional GPUs to further expand the fleet for business-critical needs.
Define and track key performance metrics for fleet health and utilization
Work closely with developers to understand their pain points and challenges leveraging our technology stack.
Manage relationships with hardware vendors and cloud providers to ensure optimal performance for GPU workloads
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years of product management or adjacent experience like User Experience Design with a focus on infrastructure products
Expertise in Fleet Management technologies and ecosystems.
Hands-on experience with GPU-accelerated Kubernetes clusters and associated usability challenges
Previous experience working with major cloud service provider
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with container networking, security, and isolation in GPU environments
Knowledge of GPU device plugin architecture
Experience in leading teams of other product managers.
