ROLE SUMMARY
The SEO/AI Manager is a key member to the Digital Team at CorePower Yoga. The Digital Team oversees improving, designing, and driving the digital student and teacher experience across CPY’s website and mobile application. The SEO/AI Manager’s role is to drive organic growth by optimizing for both traditional search engine results (SEO) and modern AI-powered answer engines (AEO). The ideal candidate will combine deep technical SEO expertise with an understanding of evolving AI search ecosystems to maximize organic visibility and drive qualified traffic to our site. This role will report directly into the VP, Digital. We look forward to having this role support our dynamic teams!
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Develop and execute a comprehensive organic search roadmap that addresses traditional SEO and AI-focused strategies.
Manage Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) by structuring content to provide direct, concise answers for AI Overviews, featured snippets, and voice search.
Manage technical SEO initiatives, including schema markup and structured data implementation, to help AI systems accurately interpret and use website content.
Conduct quarterly technical audits, addressing issues with crawlability, indexation, and site health.
Analyze performance and track key metrics (KPIs) for both traditional organic search and AI-driven results. Measure success based on AI summaries, featured snippets, and overall traffic.
Stay up-to-date on AI-driven search trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to maintain a competitive advantage in the new search landscape.
Present strategy updates and performance insights to leadership and other stakeholders.
Manage YEXT and GBPs for existing and upcoming new studio openings to optimize SEO/AEO rankings and visibility across platforms
Collaborate with Technology/Engineering, UX/UI, Marketing, Analytics, Performance Marketing, Operations; manage crossfunctional coordination and facilitation between internal/external stakeholders
High level of experience managing deadlines and keeping projects on track. Providing mitigation plans and being proactive in escalating issues to key stakeholders
EDUCATION, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in SEO/AEO/Product Management or a related field
5+ years of experience in SEO with specific exposure to SEO, AI search, or voice search optimization
Strong understanding of search algorithms, AI-driven search features, and structured data (e.g., Schema.org)
Proficient with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and AI insights into actionable strategies.
Demonstrated and focused desire to build products and services that have impact
Knowledge of agile development methodologies
A sense of urgency and ability to prioritize mission-critical work
Ability to get things done and drive projects to completion through prioritization and managing expectations at the executive level
Digitally savvy, self-motivated and proactive
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment
Enjoy working in a collaborative environment and eagerness to make an impact
Excellent presentation and communication skills with cross-functional teams and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in product/project management tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.

COMPENSATION
$80,000-$130,000 annually
Bonus potential up to 10%
