Staffmark is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Service Dispatcher to join a fast-paced service operations team in Houston. This role is key in ensuring efficient scheduling, clear communication, and high customer satisfaction. Pay: $23.00/hr


Schedule: 1st Shift | Hybrid (Mon, Wed, Thurs in-office; Tues & Fri remote for first 60 days)


Responsibilities:

• Receive and manage incoming service requests via phone, email, or internal systems
• Dispatch service technicians based on availability, skill set, and location
• Coordinate daily job schedules and adjust for emergencies or cancellations
• Maintain communication with technicians to monitor job status and provide support
• Update service systems with notes, job details, and progress
• Follow up with customers on service appointments and post-service feedback
• Support work order management, invoicing, and documentation accuracy
• Collaborate with internal teams (service managers, parts, billing )
• Optimize routing using dispatch software and GPS tracking
• Keep organized records of schedules, communications, and service activity

Who We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of administrative, customer service, or dispatch experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Dependable, punctual, and efficient in handling follow-ups and scheduling changes
• Comfortable managing service documentation, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable
• Experience with dispatch or service software preferred (training provided)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs if needed
