Hi there! We’re new to the area and growing family in Stonewall. We are a military family and currently do not have any local support. As the mama in need, I am looking for a kind, reliable, hands on, and intentional mother’s helper to care for little ones at our home while I work remotely, catch up on chores, or self-care. (bonus opportunities for work are available as well) This is a part-time position—ideal for a local caregiver who has experience with toddlers and newborns. 🗓️ 👦🏻 Startup Schedule (Ends Nov. 17th) Every other Monday from 4:45–5:45 PM — starting now with toddler aged 2. Potential need for additional support during Drs appointments once a week. 🍼🤱🏽👦🏻 Phase 2 Starts Dec 1. (w/breaks for Holiday) - Mid January — Morning or afternoon support (4 hours -6 hours weekly / 2- 3 days a week TBD) - support mostly with toddler while mom is with newborn. Some time allocated to give mom a break for showers, workouts, naps, cleaning etc. Phase 3 🗓️🧑🏼‍🍼👦🏻 Mid-Jan - ongoing --Mom goes back to work (very part-time) Watching both the toddler and the newborn. 👇🏽 Every other Monday from 4:45pm-5:45 PM Occasional additional meetings AM or PM depending. (2hrs-6hrs per month 1-3x per month) * in addition to coverage for work hours noted above— continued weekly support for mama. (2hrs -4hrs a week/ 1-2 days per week TBD) ✨ Bonus Opportunities 💵✨ As trust is built and relationships with toddler and newborn are established -- mom and dad would love a date night here and there. Support for mom during husband's work trips. Future casting: Potential 2-4 days a week (4-8 hours) if husband deploys. 🧸 Who We’re Looking For: Someone who can become our consistent mother’s helper for the next 1-3 years. Experience with toddlers and newborns CPR certification is required. Someone who is not afraid to redirect a toddler with KIND, LOVING, and FIRM boundaries. Someone who ENJOYS playing and engaging with children rather than being a passive sitter. Takes initiative and is hands-on. Flexible to a degree. Someone who is SAFETY oriented. 📓 Roles and Responsibilities: Diaper changes, nap time support, and feedings for the newborn. Snack and rare but potential diaper changes for toddler. Educational engagement with toddler (ex: practicing colors, numbers, vocab development, craft, pretend play-- supplies and ideas provided by family.) -- To best ability to while also looking after the newborn. Willing to help with light tidying only related to the kids (toys, dishes, diapers) Set kind but firm boundaries with toddler. Think connection BEFORE correction.
