Are you passionate about supporting students' learning and bridging language gaps? We are looking for dedicated translators to join our virtual education program. As a translator, you will collaborate with certified educators to enhance students' learning experiences.
Position Details:
Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: Follows the school district's calendar
Start Date: Immediate openings based on placement opportunities after completing the application and training process
About the Role: As a Virtual Education Program Translator, your responsibilities will include:
Translating written materials, such as assignments and announcements
Providing oral interpretation during all class sessions
Facilitating communication between non-English-speaking students, their families, and school staff
Assisting students in understanding and engaging with course content
Requirements:
Authorization to work in the United States
Fluency in Punjabi
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet
Experience in a K-12 educational setting
