Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available at a school in Stockton, CA. This contract position focuses on providing specialized instructional support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive tailored education to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet students' unique needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Support positive behavioral interventions and communicate regularly with families regarding student development

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential or certification
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities and learning challenges
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, policies, and best practices
• Ability to design and deliver individualized instruction effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
