MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a passionate Home Health Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide, evaluate, and implement speech therapy services to pediatric clients. If you are looking for a rewarding career where you get to help children and their families, apply now!

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school program of Speech Language Pathology- new grads are welcome to apply
  • Licensed to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Texas by anticipated start date
  • Experience in pediatrics and bilingual are a plus but necessarily required

Job Duties:

  • Performs in depth patient evaluation and develops treatment plans as indicated for patients
  • Evaluates patients’ needs and administers therapy to preserve and improve abilities for speech and language development, feeding, swallowing, etc.
  • Implements treatment plan, provides state of the art Speech Therapy services in accordance with the Plan of Treatment (POT) approved by the physician
  • Assists the client to optimize skills and abilities and help the client to an improved quality of life
  • Monitors, evaluates and modifies treatment for clients with multiple needs in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention.
  • Collaborate with the MedCare team to ensure quality care
  • Open to supervise assistants is a plus but not necessarily required
