Senior Real Estate Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
Support Development Projects: Oversee development projects within individual regions, including creating forms, managing timelines and contract terms, and facilitating communication with cross-functional areas and external vendors (Legal firms, Brokers, Engineers, General Contractors, OFI Vendors, etc.). Coordinate, plan, organize, enforce, scope, track, and manage auditing of resources for all ongoing regional development projects.
Process Improvement: Partner with the Supervisor and Project Coordinator to develop, implement, and modify process and procedure documentation according to evolving needs. Recognize the needs of individuals within cross-functional areas and facilitate or oversee the documentation process and implementation when appropriate.
Timely Project Completion: Ensure the timely completion of new projects and program enhancements. Oversee all areas of rollout, including communication and follow-up.
Cross-Functional Resource: Serve as a resource to other cross-functional areas, providing appropriate solutions by coordinating with regional development teams.
Support & Coordination: Provide additional support as needed, including miscellaneous documentation, creating and implementing presentations, and planning and coordinating weekly/monthly development meetings.
Financial Analysis: Assist Real Estate Development Managers in maximizing financial returns on the organization's real estate assets. Analyze individual property's income and expenses to make data-driven decisions related to leasing or purchasing, financing, and capital improvements.
Due Diligence: Assist Real Estate Development Managers in performing due diligence in advance of property acquisition.
Property Management: Assist Real Estate Development Managers with visiting properties, meeting with tenants, and overseeing the work of property managers or maintenance staff.

Education/Experience:
Level of Formal Education: An Associate's degree (two-year program) or equivalent formal training program.
Type of Experience: Two to three years of commercial development or transferrable residential development experience.
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Proficiency in navigating Microsoft Windows and medium to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Word - Access is a plus). Experience with Cognos/Corsa (or equivalent reporting software) and Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
Project Management: Essential project management experience.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% or as needed.
