In this role, you will support Okta's People Analytics data management platform and reporting solutions. We are looking for someone with a solid technical background, passion for data, and ability to partner across various business functions. This role will report to the Head of People Analytics. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 5 years in People Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Science Proven track record applying innovative solutions to complex database challenges and a solid problem-solving mindset in a dynamic operational environment Strong experience with SQL (relational databases, data validation, writing efficient code) Knowledge in designing and maintaining high-quality reporting and visualizations in Tableau Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues and outages promptly Excellent business partnering skills and an ability to work across multiple business levels Experience with Workday and Snowflake This role will be based in Bellevue and Chicago What you'll work on: Oversee our People & Places data architecture integrations in partnership with our corporate Data & Insights and Business Technology teams Manage a small team of People Analytics contingent workers Analyze large data sets across multiple systems to tell a complete data story Design, develop, and deliver dashboards that meet stakeholder requirements and are consistent across the People Analytics product offerings Manage existing dashboards by monitoring ongoing functionality, implementing new requests, and performing operational updates Produce technical documents that track new releases and communicate change impact Collaborate with People & Places teams to understand priorities and provide actionable and accurate reports Implement and own standards and best practices across the team on data governance Assess and implement new data technologies and tools #LI-SC #LI-Hybrid Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable) and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
