We are looking for analytical, bright, energetic, outgoing and motivated individuals interested in supporting the various facets of Corporate Strategy. This internship is focused on learning about Corporate Strategy development, the process for gathering and developing Market Insights, how the company’s business model operates today and into the future, and how we use innovation to help fuel our growth.

What you do:

Corporate Strategy Development:

• Collaboratively develop business cases for potential strategic initiatives and business opportunities
• Support execution of executive leadership and senior leadership group presentation materials and messaging to effectively communicate business cases, initiative status, and strategic recommendations
• Provide strategic support for company-wide initiatives (e.g. digital, operations, product)
• Provide strategic support for limited engagements with 3rd party consultants

Market Insights:

• Research, analyze, and report on key market trends related to our customers, products, and distribution channels
• Support and periodically report on key Allianz OE activities (e.g. Allianz Australia Retire+) in other countries

Operations:

• Manage the monthly long-term strategy budgeting process
• Support the company-wide annual planning process
• Develop a framework for strategic data archival following best practices then implement it in collaboration with other Marketing and Strategy division teams

Innovation:

• Support planning and execution of the annual, company-wide innovation campaign
• Coordinate the topic, external speaker, and execution of one or more sessions of the innovation learning series that engages and inspires employees company-wide

What you bring:

• Be working toward a degree in business, finance, data & analytics
• Have strong critical-thinking, proven organizational and relationship building and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborate with manager, team and business partners to gain a deeper understanding of Enterprise Operations, agile methodologies and project management.
• Participate in cross functional group project initiatives.
