Position Overview

Total Point Healthcare is seeking a qualified and experienced Supervising Physician to lead and support our clinical team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for patient care. As a Physician Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations, mentoring physicians and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and leadership for a team of physicians and clinical staff, fostering a culture of quality care and teamwork.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and adherence to best practices.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and provide support to improve clinical performance and patient care.
• Collaborate with administration to develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and Total Point Healthcare standards.
• Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new physicians and healthcare providers.
• Assist in handling patient complaints and resolving issues to maintain patient satisfaction.
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., nursing, administration) to optimize clinical and operational processes.
• Keep updated with the latest in clinical practices, guidelines, and regulations, and ensure staff education in these areas.

Qualifications

• Education : MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Licensure : Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas or eligible to obtain.

Skills:

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
• Sound clinical judgment and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and familiarity with healthcare management software.
