Aishling Obstetrics and Gynecology is looking for a Surgery Scheduler to join our Sandwich and Yorkville offices. The ideal candidate will be friendly, have excellent listening, communication, and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with patients', physicians, and other staff both within the clinic and at outside facilities providing accurate, timely and responsive information.
• Follows all written protocols and procedures of the clinic.
• Coordinates and schedule surgeries, test, and follow-up appointments as designated by physicians.
• Locating Assistant Surgeon as needed for scheduled procedures.
• Returns and responds to all calls relating to scheduling.
• Helps with other tasks including but not limited to following up with patients that no-show or cancel surgical appointments,answering pre-op questions, and sending H&P orders to hospitals.

Qualifications:

• Superb organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work with Excel, Word, and medical software
• Must have the ability to travel to all our locations as needed
• Must have experience in surgery scheduling
• Spanish speaking is a plus
• Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA, Compliance, OSHA
• Must be highly flexible and able to accommodate changing needs of the office
