Job Description
I hope you're doing well! I’m reaching out with an exciting opportunity for a Level 5 Systems Administrator supporting a Special Access Program (SAP) based in several markets. This is a 1-year contract-to-hire role with a targeted start date of October 20, 2025. Here are the key details:
Position: B5 Systems Administrator
Location: Ft. Meade, MD
Clearance: Active Secret required (Top Secret preferred) – No interim clearance accepted
Start Date: ~10/20/2025
Compensation: Salary around $140-$170k
Certifications: Must have Security+ or equivalent Qualifications:
• Strong networking background
• Experience with STIG deployment and SCAP scanning
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux (Red Hat 8/9)
• Familiarity with VMware, VCF, NSX, VDI (Horizon/NIFA)
• Experience with Satellite Server, Isilon/Unity storage, PPDM/Rubrik backups
• Automation experience with Ansible and Puppet
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with upper management
• Compliance and technical concept understanding
• Sys Admin-focused background preferred (not Cyber Security) 📌 Please note: This role supports a SAP program, and the end customer has final say on candidate selection.
