The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is seeking an entry-level technology systems coordinator to work on all aspects of publishing solutions for title management systems across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing administrative support for Klopotek, Editorial Manager, and ProduXion Manager
• Producing analytic reports from publication systems, including Personify, Editorial/ProduXion Manager, Atypon, Google, Klopotek, and CEDB/XIS
• Developing and automating routine reports in Python and MS Azura
• Maintaining relationships with recipients of KBART, ONIX, and other metadata and electronic file exports
• Working with staff to develop, refine, and schedule reports
• Working with managers on all aspects of data related to publications--input, quality control, export, and technical solutions to metadata problems

The ideal candidate will have:

• A 4-year college degree or equivalent broad knowledge in a specialized field
• 0-1 year experience (technical publications experience preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Basic knowledge of Python (or another coding language with willingness to learn Python) and XML
• Basic knowledge of MS Azure
• Strong researching, problem solving, and conceptual thinking abilities
• Experience balancing data-driven decision making with attention to quality and accuracy
• Experience working in a collaborative environment
• Excellent time management skills and demonstrated success managing multiple priorities
• Experience analyzing large volumes of data from analytics tools and multiple databases, and making data-driven decisions to define navigation, product assortment, and increased discoverability
• Strong writing and communication skills, including ability to summarize and translate technical information for a non-technical audience
