Be part of the Tasting Room team as a charismatic spokesperson with a passion for wine and a spirit to sell! Testarossa Winery produces outstanding wine at the historic Novitiate Winery. Recognized for our Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, we offer our guests an elegant 45-minute tasting experience of our single vineyard and appellation wines in our tasting room or on our outdoor tasting patio. What the Tasting Room Sales Associate does!

As a tasting room sales associate, you are the expert in sharing our wide selection of wines, philosophy, history, and passion for high quality winemaking! You are goal orientated and driven to communicate our promotions and club memberships while developing strong relationships with our guests. Working at our historic site, the day-to-day may include:
  • Pouring flights of wine, sharing the history of the winery, educating guests on the wine from different vineyards across California, and our wine making practices
  • Informing our guests of the great perks and details of becoming a wine club member
  • Selling club memberships and wine to meet sales goals
  • Collaborating with the tasting room team to plan, develop and execute goals


Requirements


  • 1 year of winery and/or sales experience preferred
  • General first-hand knowledge of and passion for wine and wine-related topics
  • Ability to present product, up sell & cross sell
  • Positive team player
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Work 2 - 4 shifts a week, including weekend and holiday availability is required
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs, stand, walk, climb stairs, grab, pour, reach, and bend throughout duration of each shift
  • Ability to work outdoors in all-weather conditions for the duration of the shift
