Job Details:

\n

• 1 year of experience required with first-time travelers accepted
\n• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
\n• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT, Florida license
\n• No on-call responsibilities
\n• No floating within scope required
\n• Guaranteed hours apply after the first call off per pay period
\n• NICU, Pediatric Critical Care, and Pediatrics work setting experience required
\n• Must be competent with airway management, medication administration, and delivery systems
\n• Experience required with aerosol setups, nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management
\n• Skills needed: ABG interpretation, basic EKG, chest physiotherapy, and drawing arterial blood gases
\n• Must be competent on Servo I/U/N and Sensormedics ventilators
\n• Jet ventilator experience in NICU preferred
\n• Care experience required for conditions including Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Respiratory Distress Syndrome, and RSV
\n• Cerner EMR experience preferred
\n• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
\n• Royal blue scrubs required
\n• Must live at least 100 miles from facility (100-mile radius rule applies)
\n• Florida license or compact license required at time of submittal

This specialized children's hospital is a 219-bed short-term acute care facility featuring a Level 4 NICU and Level 1 pediatric unit with a Level I pediatric emergency department. The facility provides comprehensive pediatric care with interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams. The hospital maintains a smoke-free environment and utilizes Cerner charting systems to support high-quality patient care across all pediatric specialties.
