WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in ambulatory surgery for a 13-week contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Albany, NY. This position offers a weekly pay of $2,300.

\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n 

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 7am - 7pm.
\n
• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.    
\n
• Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.  
\n
• Educates patients on surgical procedures; Records patients’ medical information and vital signs.  
\n
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.  
\n

Job Requirements:  

\n

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or bachelor's degree in nursing  (BSN).  
\n
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).  
\n
• 1-2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.  
\n
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.  
\n
